Gardening

Today, I watered the existing plants: tomatoes, peppers, beans, onions and leeks.  Later in the day, I mixed expanded shale into a new raised bed.  I have curved PVC pipes over it and I will plant more pole beans there to climb up the curved PVC.  I installed straight PVC pipes to create a trellis for some of the existing bean plants.  I still need a couple of 4-way joints for cross-supports.  I also planted some daffodils that have been waiting a very long time to get in the ground.  It is so late in the season, I don’t know if they will actually make it.
